Reference Pictures of the Set

Placement points

  1. We want a nice over-the-shoulder shot of Evaluator and Speaker during evaluation.
  2. The reference photos show the tops of the curtains. We want to avoid this, so cheat the curtains up a foot off the floor, and favor tilting the cameras down at the floor rather than up at the top of the curtains
  3. Make sure Timing Light is front and center.
  4. Center aisle is important so Cam2 can get full length shot of speaker
  5. Make sure left-side aisle is wide enough for Cam1 to dolly forward and back
  6. Remember to turn off house lights to avoid grid light shadow on curtain.
  7. Use fluorescent banks (Brightline) from wings for area lighting of speaking area.
